Your First Visit
What to expect
Welcome to our clinic! We’re thrilled to be part of your wellness journey. Here’s everything you need to know for a smooth and comfortable first visit with us. We look forward to meeting you and supporting your health goals!
Discussion of Your Pain
Your first visit will begin with a conversation about your pain, symptoms, and any relevant medical history. This helps us understand your unique situation and any specific areas of discomfort.
Evaluation of Pain Areas
- Range of Motion Check: We will assess the range of motion in the area of concern to see how well or limited your movements are.
- Palpation: Our chiropractor will use hands-on techniques to check for tenderness, swelling, tension, and any other physical findings that may contribute to your pain.
- X-Ray (If Needed): If necessary, we may take x-rays to rule out any fractures or dislocations. The x-rays also help identify any additional factors contributing to your symptoms.
Diagnosis Explanation
After the evaluation, we will explain the diagnosis, providing a clear understanding of what may be causing your pain.
Treatment Plan Discussion
Based on your diagnosis, we will discuss a personalized treatment plan to address your specific needs. This plan may include chiropractic adjustments, exercises for posture correction, or other therapeutic approaches.
Home Care Recommendations
After your treatment, we’ll go over home care guidelines, including recommended stretches, exercises, and physical activities to support your healing between visits.
Follow-Up Visit Frequency
We’ll discuss a follow-up schedule tailored to your needs. This might be twice a week for 3-4 weeks, once a month for maintenance, or as needed depending on your progress.
